Damask/Initial Wine Glass

As I was sitting here watching a B-rate movie with the hubby, I decided to paint one of my wine glasses. I have been wanting to paint a damask design along with my initial. Because I don't know how to do just one thing at a time or sit still during a movie, I got all of my paints out and went to work

Fleur de Lis **MARGARITA PARTY**

My favorite creation by far!! I love the way they all go together to make a theme.  I can make these for anyone if they would like.  Just email me at kporterxox@gmail.com & we can discuss what custom design along with theme you may want.  I have many ideas and I'm sure you do too.  I'm very excited to make many many more fleur de lis glasses. I've been custom hand painting glasses for a while also.  I do these free hand with out a stencil so each one is unique & slightly different.  I can also do these in any suggested design.  I recently painted  a demask/inital glass & I have painted a Bride & Groom set for my daughter & son-in-law.  I even have done painted glasses as birthday gifts to match the theme of the birthday as well as glasses for donation to school auctions.

Back to Reality....

My family & I just returned from a week long vacation at the beach!!  It was very relaxing and as always none of us wanted to return.  Even though you have the same chores of washing clothes, cooking, & cleaning, it just doesn't seem so bad when you are away from home.  We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom condo overlooking the gulf on Orange Beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  This was our first trip to Orange Beach as a family.

While we were there I was thinking of ways that I could have fun making things with shells.  We collected shells the whole time we were on the beach & I bought a few at the souvenir shop in town.  I found some old picture frames & glued the shells around the edges to display our beach photos.  I still have lots of shells left.  I was thinking about making some jewelry.  Any ideas??
